I am an Indian author based in Singapore, writing in English and Tamil. My fiction and essays are shaped by a long fascination with technology, psychology, institutions and the choices people make inside them.
Writing did not begin as a carefully planned second career. It emerged from curiosity, spare time and a need to turn ideas into stories. What began as an experiment gradually became a way of thinking about the world.
More than two decades working across banking, data, finance, tax and transformation gave me a front-row view of systems: how they are designed, how incentives shape behaviour and how unintended consequences emerge. Those observations now feed my fiction rather than define it.
Memory. Identity. Technology. Power. Human behaviour. I am interested in the point where an individual believes they are making a personal choice but a larger system may already be influencing the options available.
The next phase is deliberately broader: books, short fiction, essays and eventually narrated storytelling. The work will build the identity first; any larger platform or series should earn its name through the work itself.
